Live Nation and Unified partner to present new Heavy Music touring force
Australian rock music promoter UNIFIED and Live Nation Australasia are partnering to create a new touring arm called Unify Presents, with the first official tour under the partnership being the recently announced Bring Me The Horizon arena tour announced as the tour de force's first venture.
Under its founder and Chief Executive Jaddan Comerford, UNIFIED has a strong history of successful touring for its management clients including Vance Joy, The Amity Affliction, Violent Soho, Northlane, In Hearts Wake and Illy, as well as running the critically acclaimed and sold out UNIFY events in 2015 and 2016. Seeing a gap in the rock market and holding many key relationships around the world, UNIFIED’s decision to enter the touring space is an important move for the Australian market.
Global entertainment giant Live Nation is one of the leading promoters in the region and carries a considerable pedigree in Heavy Music ranging from juggernauts Metallica, Black Sabbath and Linkin Park to recent tours with Sleeping with Sirens, Soilwork, Tonight Alive and Asking Alexandria.
Live Nation is also the producer of the UK’s famous Download Festival.
Heading up UNIFIED’s touring strategy will be Luke Logemann. Logemann is the booker and promoter for UNIFY, and has worked with Comerford for 10 years, running the recorded music arm of the company and managing key acts in the rock space.
Joining Live Nation as a promoter is Nigel Melder, who has in depth touring experience that spans more than a decade. Melder comes from Destroy All Lines, where he worked as the head of touring for the past eight years.
