SCTA attracts over 400 registrations for SWIMCON24
SWIMCON24 has closed on the Sunshine Coast with exhibitors and more than 400 delegates coming together for Australia’s premier conference for swim coaches and teachers, aquatic professionals, swim schools and industry leaders
Hosted by SWIM Coaches and Teachers Australia (SWIM/SCTA), the event saw swim coaches and swim schools come together to connect and network, learn and share, and celebrate the achievements and service of Australia’s best performers.
Speaking during one of the conferenced sessions, Rohan Taylor, Head Coach of the Australian Dolphins, spoke of how Australia’s aquatic Olympians “always want to try and constantly get better”.
Referring to being asked as to whether this is the best team ever, Taylor added that the Australian Olympic team’s “daily performance environment training standards are world’s best – the expectation and execution of their skills work is at the highest level … with skills at the highest level all the time that they repeat under pressure.”
Commenting on the success of SWIMCON24, SCTA/SWIM Chief Executive, Brendon Ward, stated “we couldn’t do this without partners, sponsors and exhibitors and have been blessed … key people in front of our audience.”
