Rockclimbing playground opens in Palmerston North
A new indoor and outdoor rockclimbing playground has opened in a formerly vacant CBD building in Palmerston North.
The new Kids Republic Playland and Café offers rock climbing, zorbing and other play fun targeted at children up to 12 years of age. The development also includes at veterinary surgery and pet store.
Features include a steep four-metre-drop slide, giant trampolines, an outdoor Scooter Grand Prix park, triple side-by-side racing slides, a zorb, seven climbing walls with automatic belaying, a toddlers play area, a games room, a cafe, and two childrens' party rooms.
It will also offer before and after-school care for parents as well as childrens’ ‘disco nights’ on Fridays.
