Revolution Sports Park to open in Moreton Bay

Revolution Sports Parks are to open their second facility at North Lakes in south east Queensland

As reported by the Pine Rivers Press, the new 2000 metre² facility will on the site of the former Velocity Trampoline Park.

Revolution spokesman Freddie Thompson advised “North Lakes is exploding.

“There is so much growth in terms of housing and business, and is very family-oriented, which suits our purpose.

“From the research we have done the area is desperate for entertainment.”

Set to open in January, the park will feature four arenas in its first-phase launch and will include a main arena with 40 interconnected trampoline along with a 16 metre tumbling mat and airbag.

It will also include a performance arena with six large, Olympic-grade trampolines; a running wall and giant airbag; a basketball arena; and ajunior arena with 20 trampolines, a climb and slide area, and a ball pit.

High ropes and a climbing wall will be introduced in the second phase during the second quarter of next year.

Thompson said visitors to the sports park would be able to hold birthday parties at the centre and there would be under-18 parties.

Thompson added “we plan to make it dynamic and interesting for children, and we will be mixing it up with different sorts of classes and events.”

Revolution also operates a 5000 metre² centre in Newcastle.
