Registrations open for Greening Cities Conference

The sixth Annual Greening Cities Conference is to be held at the Melbourne Law Function Centre from 28th November to 1st December.
Backed by GreenRoofs Australasia (GRA), the conference will present keynote speakers from overseas and nationally to celebrate best practice in green infrastructure projects, research, policy and technology.
Planting on roofs and walls is one of the most innovative, sustainable and rapidly developing disciplines in architecture, landscape design, urban environmental planning, ecology and horticulture.
As the peak body for the green roof and green wall sector in Australia and New Zealand, GRA is presenting leading international and national authorities in their disciplines to present recent projects, design technology, research data and a positive vision for a future of green cities in harmony with nature.

The free entry Exhibition and Trade Show will be open to general public as GRA aspires to increasing public awareness about the benefits of green infrastructure.
The 'Greening Cities' Conference themes have been chosen to reflect the diverse range of disciplines involved in the design, implementation and monitoring/maintenance of green roofs and walls. This year there will be a focus on the Australian experience to showcase how international models of green roofs and walls have been adapted for Australian conditions; demonstrated by case studies and research. GRA also aims to highlight studies which have quantified the benefits of green roofs and walls and how this new information could be used in policy and planning to promote their implementation.
GRA is the peak body for the promotion and dissemination of green infrastructure information in Australasia.
