realSpaces initiative aims to support active lifestyles in local communities
As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility program, the Real Insurance Group have launched a $1 million funding program to assist Councils across Australia in the procurement of fully installed outdoor gyms.
Real Insurance was established to protect the quality of people’s lives across Australia, and as part of this ambition the company has committed to assisting communities in having access to free outdoor gyms to ensure long-term health and vitality through sport and fitness.
Over the coming months, Real Insurance is looking to partner with a number of Councils to encourage community fitness and outdoor exercise. The aim is to utilise existing green spaces within local communities and installing state-of-the-art outdoor gyms to get more Aussies active.
Named realSpaces , the initiative will see Real Insurance fund 50% of the cost of supply and full installation of large and medium-sized outdoor gyms.
Partnering with the Great Outdoor Gym Company, Real Insurance will be announcing projects with key councils and their commitment to providing residents with safe, fun outdoor training zones.
