Abu Dhabi to host Arabian Sponsorship Forum 2010

The second Arabian Sponsorship Forum will take place at The Yas Hotel, Abu Dhabi on 8th and 9th December, the Professional Sports Group has confirmed.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and platinum sponsorship from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, this yearâs forum will feature key-note speakers, panels and sponsorship workshops.

Confirmed speakers include Kevin Roberts, Global Chief Executive of Saatchi and Saatchi; Anders Sundt Jensen, Vice President, Brand Communications, Mercedes-Benz Cars Germany; and Peter Baumgartner, Chief Commercial Officer, Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Some of the panellists already lined up are Boutros Boutros, Divisional SVP Corporate Communications, Emirates Airlines; Dan Jones, Partner, Sports Division, Deloitte; and Richard Masters, Director of Sales and Marketing, English Premier League.

In addition to the two-day conference, the workshop âIntroduction to Sponsorshipâ will be held on 7th December aimed at Arabian Gulf and expatriate university students and recent graduates.

The Arabian Sponsorship Forum brings together the sports, entertainment and events industries in the Middle East, including sponsors, rights holders and agencies.
