Ready for the 2015 Australian Fitness Expo

Delegates, suppliers, presenters and professionals from across the Australian fitness industry are currently preparing for the 2015 Australian Fitness & Health Expo being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this weekend.

Staged from 10th to 12th April in conjunction with the Australian Fitness Network’s FILEX Convention, the combined events are acknowledged as the largest fitness, and leisure, trade exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Expo floor will feature major exhibits from industry equipment leaders including Life Fitness, Precor, Queenax, Technogym and Les Mills Asia Pacific; technology and billing leaders Links Modular Solutions, Centaman, FFA Paysmart and Debitsuccess; along with other other premier suppliers including Pulsetec, Interloc and Pavigym, plus exciting newcomers who can give fitness businesses an edge and help operators achieve optimal results for clients in new ways.

An Industry Lounge within the Expo, powered by Fitness Australia, will feature free business advice covering topics such as finance, marketing and franchising, along with a networking area and bar.

Visitors to the Australasian Leisure Management stand (booth W40) at the Expo, which we are sharing with the Australian Leisure Facilities Association (ALFA), will be able to pick up a copy of the March/April 2015 issue with features on new fitness industry developments, the growth of clubs in regional Australia, seasonal swimming pools, community sports clubs and facility cleaning.

ALFA is also hosting its annual Facility Managers' Networking Breakfast on the morning of Friday 10th April, Facility Managers' Networking Breakfast - for bookings see link below..

Do also come to the Australasian Leisure Management stand to get some tips on getting your news into the media (see below).

Getting your news into the media

If you have wondered why your competitors news features in the media either traditional media such as magazines, newspapers, radio and television or new social media such as twitter, Facebook and other platforms and yours doesn't?

Understanding how to present your news and information is part of the process but it may also need you and/or your organisation to get into the habit and culture of communicating. You may well be a great verbal advocate for your business but you need to translate that communication into the written word and/or be able to deliver that message on camera or into a microphone.

Come and get some guidance on how to present news and information and creating a culture of communication.

The 2015 Australian Fitness & Health Expo is open only to those in the fitness/health trade on Friday 10th April, with general and trade admission on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April.

Trade visitors can click here to pre-register online for free entry.
