QPAC reveals new membership program

The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) has commenced a membership program that aims to enhance visitor experiences, delivering valuable savings for every member visit to the Centre with additional benefits to keep members entertained at home and beyond.

Launching this membership program is one of a suite of initiatives created by the Centre in its 30th anniversary year.

QPAC Chief Executive John Kotzas has said this year QPAC has been very active in inviting Queenslanders to become more closely connected with their performing arts centre.

Kotzas stated “over the last three decades we have continuously encouraged deep connections with Queensland communities in and through the arts.

“The focus has been on delivering programs and activities that are relevant and attract a broad audience. Last financial year our visitation grew to over 1.4 million and a third of those attended a free event.

“We are continuing to focus on understanding our communities and working with them to create arts based experiences. Our new membership program is an important element in that conversation.

“Coming to QPAC is about more than what people see on our stages. Our two tiers of Membership are designed to offer both savings, richer experiences and added value all year round.”

Member benefits include priority booking periods, zero transaction fees on ticket purchases, discounts across QPAC dining and a reduction in the price of pre-paid parking.

For the base Silver membership the cost is $75.

Gold Members benefits include drink vouchers, a 12 month digital subscription to The Courier-Mail and other news sources , one 12 month e-magazine subscription (to leading titles such as Vogue Australia, GQ and Donna Hay), eBooks, member-only events as well as dozens of monthly entertainment and lifestyle rewards and special offers.

Gold membership costs $185.
