Plus Fitness expansion continues with new club openings

Approaching the second anniversary of opening their first franchised club, fast growing 24 hour gym franchise Plus Fitness 24/7 has opened four new clubs in as many weeks.

The new Plus Fitness 24/7 clubs are in Hornsby, NSW; Mill Park, Victoria; North Richmond, NSW and Subiaco in Western Australia and each facility has a story to tell.

At Plus Fitness 24/7 Hornsby, franchisees Nick, Joanne, Trent and Kathy Cumming focused on marketing their new club through signage, facebook posts and flyer drops and opened with over 200 members.

At Plus Fitness 24/7 Mill Park, the franchisees purchased an existing gym and converted it into a Plus Fitness 24/7 with a relaunch strategy that has seen them open with over 400 members.

At Plus Fitness 24/7 Subiaco, franchisees Tom and Maree Mululu actively promoted their new gym and opened with over 150 foundation members.

With franchises operating across NSW, Victoria and Western Australian, Plus Fitness owners John Fuller and Nigel Miller are pleased at the impact their clubs are making in the fitness franchising sector.

Fuller and Miller launched their 24 hour gym franchise chain after recognising the downturn in the sale of traditional 'big box' health club franchises in 2009.

Recognising the need for a lower investment, low operating cost, fast return fitness franchise model, Plus Fitness 24/7 was developed and then launched at the Sydney Franchise Expo in 2011.

Miller explains "the constant feedback from our existing and new franchisees is that the turn key nature of our model, which includes all of their gym equipment, along with the high levels of structured franchisee support, is what is setting us aside from the pack.

"(In addition) our strong work ethic and service based culture at a head office level continues to flow down through our network which is assisting in driving great successes for all of our franchisees."
