Peak Sport to equip Basketball Australia through to 2020

Basketball Australia has announced a new four year apparel partnership with global sportswear brand PEAK Sport.

The new agreement will see PEAK provide on-court, training and outer-wear apparel for Basketball Australia junior and senior teams for both wheelchair and able-bodies including the Under-17’s, Under-19’s, Under-23’s, Under-25’s as well as the Australian Gliders, Rollers, Boomers and Opals.

Welcoming the extended partnership, Basketball Australia Chief Executive Anthony Moore stated “PEAK Sport continue to be a wonderful partner of Basketball Australia (so) we are delighted to enter into a new four-year agreement which will see our national teams out-fitted in leading performance garments on the road to Tokyo 2020.”

Working with local retailers, PEAK have ensured Australian fans will also have access to the range.

Kurt Wu, Vice Director of Brand, Sales and Marketing at PEAK, added “PEAK Sport is very proud to continue its long-standing, 11-year partnership with Basketball Australia.

“This new partnership will see a fresh new design for the whole apparel range and it has been designed right here in Australia.

“We are very proud of the result and we know the players will appreciate the new fabrics which are lighter and cooler.

“PEAK believes in supporting basketball at all levels. Whether that be at the grassroots level with the Vicinity Centres Aussie Hoops program or for emerging talent at Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence in Canberra, we are dedicated to growing the sport of basketball.

“A little over 12 months ago, Matthew Dellavedova joined the PEAK family, and we know he is a wonderful ambassador for Australia and for PEAK.

We look forward to many years of working with Delly and seeing the Aussie Boomers take gold in Japan.”
