Parks for Life Announces World Parks Day

Details of the third World Parks Day, to be held on Saturday 18th September 2010, have been announced by Parks for Life.

Parks for Life is also a worldwide network for those who care about their parks. Within this network organisations can sign up and have access to a shared knowledge base of documents and meeting notes from its yearly forums. Organisations can promote World Parks Day Events and solicit volunteers for their organisations.

Adelaide - Brookfield Conservation Park (Conservation Volunteers Australia)
Beelu National Park and the Perth Hills National Parks Centre, Western Australia (WA Department of Environment and Conservation)
Blue Mountains National Park - Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area
Canberra - Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve (Conservation Volunteers Australia)
Cape Range National Park, Western Australia (WA Department of Environment and Conservation)
Centennial Parklands, Sydney
Derwent Bridge - Lake St.Clair National Park
Gold Coast City Council - Coombabah Wetlands Mountain Bike Ride and Broadwater Parklands at Southport
