2016 has seen the Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort receive a series of coveted titles from global award programs including the World Luxury Hotel Awards, Asian Golf Awards and the World Golf Awards gaining recognition as the top luxury golf resort in southern Asia.

World Luxury Hotel Awards
The first of the awards, announced in October, saw the World Luxury Hotel Awards name the Resort as the top Luxury Golf Resort in Southern Asia for 2016.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards recognise luxury hotels for their service in a number of categories and are adjudicated within their global and regional locations. The awards aim to encourage highest service standards within the luxury hotel industry with the judging criteria reflects the quality of facilities and service excellence provided by hotels.

Asian Golf Awards
Competing with prominent golf courses across the Asia Pacific Region, Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort then achieved impressive rankings in the Asian Golf Awards 2016 as ‘Second Runner-Up of Best Golf Resort in Asia Pacific’.

Hailed as "the golf industry's Oscars", there were more than 48 award categories and special awards that recognise the best golf courses in the region, the best golf destinations and the best personalities in the industry.

World Golf Awards
The Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort’s third award came at the highly-acclaimed World Golf Awards where it beat out 11 Indonesian golf courses to be named ‘Indonesia's Best Golf Course 2016’.

Prepared by the Golf Digest U.S., the award also recognises the resort as being among the World's Top 100 Greatest Golf Courses in 2016.

Commentining the the success, Guy Owen, General Manager of Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort, explained “this is an outstanding recognition for Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort, Nirwana Bali Golf Club and a tremendous honor for the entire team.

“Winning these four accolades is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to sustain and pursue excellence in service and world-class golfer experiences offered.”

The Nirwana golf course is renowned for its challenging course and natural setting. The course combines a great test of golf with the natural flora and fauna of the island.

With five ocean-side holes, three cliff-to-cliff tee shots (hole 7, 13, and 14) and eight holes sculpted into the terraced rice fields.

The locally farmed tiered rice paddies still provide villagers with crops and economy and the Tanah Lot Hindu temple offers the cultural and spiritual experience for visitors. The local villagers regularly worship at this Temple as well as the additional 19 ancient Hindu Temples in the grounds of the resort. The Tanah Lot temple set on a cliff top is one of the most visited temples in Bali. There is also an abundance of birdlife and animal life, home to an array of colorful native birds including Kokokan birds.
