Outdoor gyms open in Wodonga parks

Australian made fitness equipment manufactured by a_space is now operational at two locations in the Victorian city of Wodonga.

Wodonga City Council has opened two spectacular new outdoor gyms spread across two popular sites, Belvoir Park and the Felltimber Reserve Community Centre - which overlooks a picturesque lake.

The new outdoor gyms are designed to promote greater cardio fitness, strength and mobility and provide an enjoyable space to workout.

Wodonga City Council have reported that the outdoor gyms are proving to be immensely popular throughout all sectors of the community including mother’s groups, the elderly, the regular exercisers and those keen just to be out and about.

With more than 300 Fit for Parks outdoor gyms available to the public throughout Australia, a growing number of communities are taking positive steps to improve their health and wellbeing.

a_space has also recently completed a stunning new playground at Elsternwick Plaza, Victoria, designed to complement a redeveloped bustling park located beside the local train station.

Glen Eira City Council has reported that this inspiring addition to Elsternwick has been very well received by the local community, and its train themed design adds an appropriate element of imagination for young minds during play.
