Organisations unite to present international water safety conference

For the first time, two of Australasia's leading water safety organisations AUSTSWIM (Australasian Council for the Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety) and Water Safety New Zealand (WSNZ) are uniting to present an international conference on water safety and aquatic education.

The International Water Safety and Aquatic Education Conference will be held in from 3rd to 5th October 2013 at the Rydges Lakeland Resort, Queenstown, New Zealand.

The combined event replaces AUSTSWIM's National Aquatic Education Conference, normally held on the Gold Coast in July, and the New Zealand Water Safety Conference, hosted by WSNZ on a bi-annual basis.

In excess of 300 delegates are expected to attend from a variety of disciplines and sectors from across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim.

The conference will be managed by Queenstown-based QT Event Management with registration and accommodation bookings processed through their secure on-line registration system.
