Open day at Shepparton’s Aquamoves to highlight facilities and programs
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Aquamoves will be showcasing its role as the region's home of health and wellbeing during an open day this Sunday 9th October.
With a $5 entry all day, the event will include access to a range of ‘Come and Try’ group fitness classes, the gym, pools, spas, sauna and Splash Park.
Explaining that the open day will give people an opportunity to experience all Aquamoves has to offer, whether they’ve visited before or never walked through the door, Greater Shepparton City Council Manager Active Living, David Booth stated “we want to remind our community that we are ready to support them on their health and wellbeing journey. Our vision is for more people to be healthy, active, happy and connected - Aquamoves can be the place for all of that and more.
“We are encouraging people to come and chat with the team and take a tour of the facility. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and work out how we can best support you to reach your health goals.”
There will also be full centre membership specials available at the open day only, including six weeks for $60 and $18 a week options, with no joining fee and no lock in contract.
Attendees will also have the chance to enjoy a pool party with a range of activities including giant inflatables, as well as tour Aquamoves’ Occasional Childcare facilities, find out about the Swim School program and learn more on the allied health services available at the centre.
