New Outdoor Laminate Dance Floor From SICO

SICO South Pacific has released their newest addition to their extensive range of portable dance floors.

The Starlight II is a laminate surface dance floor that is specifically designed for indoor and outdoor use. With a choice of finishes including a continuous floating floor finish in Cherry Rose, Northern Birch as well as solid black and white colours. Edge trim can be customised in gold, silver or black.

Starlight II has a high-pressure laminate surface and is bonded with a structural foam core and glass epoxy skins. This new floor is a 100% maintenance-free surface and is resistant to spilled drinks and food, and its durable surface is easy to wipe clean and never needs refinishing. Itâs also extremely resistant to high heel dents and scuff marks which eliminated warping, chipping, and fading associated with many other lower grade dance floors in the market today.

While traditionally dance floor panels are 91cm2, the SICO Starlight II panels are 1.2 metre2 - covering almost twice the area - and resulting fewer panels, less set up and taking down time than smaller panels and less storage space.

Equipped with SICO's exclusive 'Cam Lock' positive locking system the Starlight II is not dependent upon magnets or gravity to keep panels interlocked, making set-up and take-down easy and convenient.

At only 2 cm thick, Starlight II offers a lower profile for easier access as well as SICO's proven Visi-Trim edging which provides a modest 11° slope to every floor with its broad 16 cm width offering facilities a low profile slope onto the floor eliminating dangerous tripping hazards.

Designed to last year of use the SICO Starlight II comes with a 10-year warranty of Cam-Lock mechanism and a three-year warranty on all other parts.
