Fun City Shepparton marks first birthday
Victorian family entertainment centre Fun City Shepparton has marked the first anniversary since its opening.
Developed at a cost of $6 million, the 5,500 metre² FEC located at Shepparton’s Riverside Shopping Centre has welcomed over 50,000 patrons in its first 12 months of operations, recording a remarkable 21,000 go kart rides on the SODI RTX Electric Karts and attracting over 8,000 childrens’ party guests.
Fun City owner Darren Shaw explains that “we’ve stunned everyone with how the facility is loaded full of entertainment and is so bright, colorrful and clean.”
The facility offers a massive array of attractions including over 110 amusement/prize/redemption games, Zone Systems Laser Tag 44 player Helios Pro, a 12.5 metre high rock climbing wall fitted with 18 auto belays, a Balladium Ball Blaster, Glow Mini Golf, the all new HTC VIVE Virtual Reality, rollercoaster simulators, a massive new Kidz City Playground for toddlers, Bungy Run and Haunted House, VIP Rooms along with private party rooms.
Fun City Shepparton has also won the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce’ ‘Best new Business Award’ and has again been nominated again for this year.
Shaw is now looking to develop a similar facility in the Albury - Wodonga area.
