New Fun City Sheppaton to be a state-of-the-art FEC
Set to be completed as of Easter 2015, construction of the new Fun City Sheppaton family entertainment centre (FEC) is now underway.
Part of a $17 million expansion of the Riverside Plaza regional shopping centre, the new 5,500 metre2 FEC will feature all new SODI RTX 'Formula E' Electric Powered Go Karts (the first location in Australia to operate these new French-made super-fast but energy efficient karts that are made in France), on a track designed around the soon-to-be-completed new Australian Standard for go-karts.
The $6 million Fun City attraction will also offer the latest laser tag gear from Zone Systems in a 12 level playing arena, full motion simulator rides, mini golf, a balladium ball Blaster, a state-of-the-art prize redemption game centre, a haunted house, bungy run, themed party rooms, a 12 metre hight indoor climbing wall (able to accomodate 20 climbers at any time) and a fully licenced corporate and function centre.
Looking forward to the completion of the project, Darren Shaw, owner of the Fun City group of companies, explained "Fun City will provide employment for around 50 locals when the doors open in time for the Easter School Holidays."
