New fitness expo for Western Australia

The Fitness Show, a Western Australian version of the hugely successful Australian Fitness & Health Expo, is set to highlight the growth of the State's fitness market.

To be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on 5th and 6th October 2013, the event is expected to attract in excess of 7,000 visitors exposing professionals and enthusiasts to the latest gym equipment, training aids, apparel, music, boxing products and nutritional supplements. The event will also feature live performances, appearances from sporting celebrities and association run competitions along with opportunities for Western Australian visitors to buy and trial the latest fitness industry products.

Using their expertise from the Australian Fitness & Health Expo, organisers Diversified Exhibitions are embracing the core values of fitness for the new event, allowing WA visitors to experience the best of the fitness industry and exhibitors to increase their presence in the Western Australian fitness market and to target new customers.

The Fitness Show will run alongside the Wellness and Fitness Industry Conference (WAFIC) which the Australian Fitness Network has added to its events portfolio taking over from founders the YMCA of Perth.

From 2013, Network has assumed operational control of WAFIC, with YMCA Perth acting as a supporting partner for the 2013 and 2014 events. We look forward to building on the success and achievements of the last five WAFIC events.
