New conference Championing Women in Sport
The team behind the popular Sport Fan Summit is to present a news conference, Championing Women in Sport, showcasing how women are impacting sport business: as decision-makers, as fans, as commercial partners and as athletes.
Being presented at the MCG on 15th November, the conference will present a full day of thought leadership dedicated to exploring women and sport in Australia and New Zealand.
There will be three main-stage Keynotes; one to open the conference and two additional keynotes to close it. The remaining of the conference will be split into two streams.
The first Stream concentrates on professional clubs and leagues; focusing on both female leagues and clubs but also the challenges for all of achieving engagement by women. The focus is aspirational. The second Stream focuses on Participation, People and Positioning. The emphasis here is on the inspirational.
Confirmed speakers including Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx's Ted Johnson, Nine Entertainment's Amanda Laing, Sydney Swifts & Netball World Cup's Kath Tetley's along with Auburn Giants' inspirational Amna Karra Hassan.
