New BIG4 Rivershore Resort opens on the Sunshine Coast

Rivershore Resort, the first new holiday park to open south east Queensland since the late 1970s, has opened its gates on the Sunshine Coast.

A BIG4 Holiday Parks franchise, the Rivershore Resort offers a variety of accommodation options for travellers from campsites to luxury ‘glamping’. The park features 80 spacious camping and caravan sites, 13 king safari tents and two family safari tents equipped with ensuites, stunning claw baths and kitchenettes.

Rivershore Resort co-owner Bernie McGovern is “pleased to bring a new and unique accommodation offering to the Sunshine Coast”.

“We are thrilled to open our doors to Australian travellers.

“Rivershore has a truly unique offering with modern facilities that are exceptionally styled and a variety of accommodation options, that we believe, will appeal to all travellers.”

The park offers a vast range of activities to suit all ages including a café/restaurant and bar, large heated pool complete with two waterslides, spacious picnic areas, a mini-golf course, kayak/canoe hire, bike hire andmore.

McGovern added “with patrolled beaches and the township of Maroochydore located just minutes away, Rivershore is the perfect family friendly holiday environment.”

Rivershore Resort also welcomes members of the community who can enjoy the facilities of the park for a small day fee.
