New appointments strengthen Leisure Concepts management team

Leading fitness club and studio equipment supplier Leisure Concepts has advised that is has strengthened its leadership team with recent appointments Glen Taylor in the role of National Sales Manager and industry veteran Brendan Davis to the role of National Operations Manager (Australia and New Zealand).

With the Leisure Concepts Group having been on a pathway of steep growth over the past two years, Managing Director, Troy McBean stated “we are thrilled to attract experienced professionals of Glen and Brendan’s calibre, both bring significant experience and relationships to the table, and will form integral structural change to the company to manage our expansion and growth.”

Commenting on his new role, Davis (pictured), a long-term industry professional who joins from having been General Manager at Synergy Fitness since 2009, explained “I have worked as a group Fitness instructor, in membership sales, managed gyms, owned my own gyms, worked in the finance sector of the industry, equipment sales, equipment design and as the general manager and shareholder of a leading player in the commercial equipment space.

“I have had the privilege of working with small sole operators all the way through to the big chains within Australia and around the world. I have been lucky to travel, exhibit and mix with industry experts in all areas of the industry and corners of the globe. I have been very blessed to be part of, and learn so much from such a vibrant, dynamic industry that ultimately has the collective goal of ‘making a difference’ in people’s lives.

“I am now excited to able to take all of this and focus on a new chapter with the team at Leisure Concepts Australia and New Zealand. Our goal is to focus on culture, product, processes, and service that positions us as valued partner to our customer base as we grow our business in the commercial fitness equipment space.

Glen Taylor's past industry roles include positions with Bodytastic Australia, a-space Australia and Matrix Fitness and he remains the owner of the Fit Into Shape studio in the Brisbane suburb ot Mt Gravatt.
