New appointment at Confederation of Australian Motor Sport
The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport has announced that Tom Reynolds has been appointed to the role of General Manager - Media and Communications.
Reynolds has extensive experience in media, communications, marketing, video and social media activations and strategy, with particular focus on the motor sport industry. Alongside his tertiary qualifications, he has performed the roles of Media Manager for the Australian Superbike Championship, Australian Rally Championship, Pedders Rally Team and Targa New Zealand.
Reynolds has also consulted to a wide range of organisations and industries, including the Holden Racing Team, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, and is co-owner and head of PR for State of Matter MAAP Racing Team.
In his role he will oversee CAMS’ media, communications and digital strategy across all programs and properties in the CAMS Group.
Properties recently added to the CAMS Group include the CAMS Jayco Australian Formula 4 Championship, CAMS National Racing Championships (Shannons Nationals), CAMS Australian Rally Championship and CAMS Australian Off Road Championship.
Explaining that this is an important appointment for the organisation, CAMS Chief Executive Eugene Arocca stated “this is a critical role for CAMS, particularly given the increasing scale and scope of our operations.
“We are pleased to have attracted someone of Tom’s calibre to the organisation and I’m confident he will make an outstanding contribution.”
Reynolds will commence in the role on 11th January.
