Netstrata extends naming rights for Sydney's Jubilee Stadium
Sydney’s Georges River Council has renewed a deal with property management company Netstrata for the naming rights to Jubilee Stadium, home of the NRL’s St George Illawarra Dragons.
The new six-year deal, extending a partnership first agreed in January 2019, will see the venue continue to be known as Netstrata Jubilee Stadium as part of a new six-year deal.
The extension has been confirmed after Georges River Council initially announced in October last year that it was seeking a new naming-rights sponsor for the 20,000-capacity stadium.
As well as NRL, Netstrata Jubilee Stadium hosts AFL, A-League and W-League games. Georges River Council plans on expanding the venue’s offering to include cultural and entertainment events.
Commenting on the sponsorship extension, Georges River Council Mayor, Nick Katris advised “I am delighted to announce Netstrata, a locally-based company with a strong history in the Georges River area, as the naming-rights sponsor of Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
“We have had a great relationship with Netstrata and are looking forward to strengthening our partnership as the stadium continues being a sought-after venue for professional sports matches and elite training.”
Netstrata Managing Director, Stephen Brell added “as a local business, it’s great to give back to our community through supporting Georges River Council.”
