Myzone appoints new Global Head of Product
Myzone has announced that fitness innovation and technology expert, Leon Rudge, is joining its team as Global Head of Product, in a move that will see his extensive experience benefit customers and end users alike.
With a foundational focus on supporting gyms using wearable tech that increases member engagement, Rudge’s years in the fitness industry position him perfectly to align customer needs and Myzone’s strategic roadmap to drive continual growth.
Looking forward to his new role, Rudge (pictured) advised “I'm really excited to be joining Myzone and working alongside incredible talent with an awesome product.
“I have fond memories of travelling to IHRSA 2011, sitting next to the team as they got ready to launch.
“Over the years, I've loved watching the product evolve, the business grow, and it really is humbling to become part of it. The company has some exciting plans, and I'm looking forward to rolling my sleeves up and helping with the next Myzone chapter.”
Rudge joins Myzone after eight years on the front line of innovation for Life Fitness, progressing through positions of technology solutions manager and director of digital experience internationally. In addition, his four years on the International Health Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) Innovation and Technology Advisory Council means that Myzone is now even better equipped to improve the process of tech adoption that gets more people, more physically active, more often around the world.
Myzone founder and Chief Executive, Dave Wright went on to say “there are few in the industry that have such an in-depth experience and knowledge of technology in the industry as Leon
“Having personally known and respected Leon for over a decade, we could not think of a more qualified expert to help drive Myzone to the next chapter of our product journey.”
