Myrtha Pools announces new Business Development Manager appointment for Australia and New Zealand

Myrtha Pools has welcomed Yvette Audet as its new Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Well known in the aquatic industry, Audet brings her expertise and networks to the leading international pool builder and will be working with the long established Myrtha Pools team in Australia and New Zealand to expand the Myrtha brand.

Based on a German Patent, Myrtha Pools has been building commercial pools across the world for over 60 years. Over the decades its exclusive stainless steel technology has been continuously developed and improved to match increasing market expectations as a result of which it has produced 20,000 pools in over 70 countries and delivers on average 1500 pools worldwide each year.

Pools range from sports recovery pools through to hotel pools, health and wellness centres, aquatic adventure parks and Aquatic Leisure Centres.

Recent Myrtha Pools delivered to Myrtha distributors in Australia includes award winning Hawthorn Park apartments, the new wave pool at Aquatopia in Western Sydney, St Kilda Football Club’s recovery pools and a 25m indoor (including water polo/dive boards) and learn to swim pool at St Catherines School in Eastern Sydney.

Other Myrtha Pools currently under construction include the Parramatta Aquatic Centre and Mt Gambier Aquatic Centre.

Excited about her new role, Audet states “it is great to be working for a renowned multinational company with a strong reputation for the perfect fusion between technology and design. Myrtha has the ability to create endless opportunities for aquatic environments in an environmentally sustainable manner.”

Audet (pictured) is also the newly elected Vice President of International Association of Sport and Leisure Facilities (IAKS), part of the international aquatic expert circle, former Aquatic and Recreation Institute (NSW) board member and has been involved in swim teaching associations and various learn to swim schools for over three decades.
