MSAC Institute of Training to host Leadership for Sports Management program
The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) Institute of Training is to host a new world class installment in its Sport Facility Management Series - 'Leadership for Sports Management'.
In partnership with the Australian Institute of Management, the Leadership for Sports Management program is designed to provide professional development for new and emerging leaders and managers in the sports management industry.
Held from Monday 8th April to Friday 28th June, the 12 week program includes with four unique face-to-face sessions and provides delegates with the opportunity to explore and learn key leadership principles with practical learning outcomes between sessions.
The program is a truly interactive development experience designed to transform the leadership skills at both the individual and organisational level.
Modules are:
Module 1 Management vs Leadership
Module 2 Leadership Qualities
Module 3 Create Your Leadership Development Plan
Module 4 Leadership in Action
Followed by a Leadership Network Check-In on Friday 28th June 2013.
The programs is aimed at facility operators, venue managers, event managers, project managers and new and emerging leaders in the recreation, sport and venue industry.
Places are limited to a maximum of 20 delegates.
