MSAC Institute of Training to hold flagship International Sport Facility Management Program

Designed for senior executives, governing body representatives, facility operators, venue managers, event managers, project managers, organising committee members, architects and builders, the MSAC Institute of Training's flagship four day International Sport Facility Management Program (ISFMP) is set to be presented for the sixth time from 11th to 14th March.

Being hosted in line with the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix event on site in Albert Park, the ISFMP is attracting delegates from major sporting facilities all over the world.

The Program provides an outstanding opportunity for delegates to observe and learn from leading experts with practical experience in the conception, planning, design, construction, establishment and operation of major sport facilities.

This year, the ISFMP will provide an interactive forum for participants from around the world to case study some of Melbourne's greatest sporting facilities to learn from industry leaders on the planning, management and practicalities for these facilities which has made Melbourne the 'sporting capital of the world'.

In 2013, delegates will be treated to an Australian Grand Prix experience with exclusive site tours and an insight into the management of this world class event.

During the four-day workshop, delegates discuss and develop practical tools relating to each phase of the planning and operation of major facilities and events.

The program also involves exclusive tours of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), Melbourne and Olympic Parks and the newest facility to Melbourne's sporting infrastructure Lakeside Stadium.
