Meetoo names Victoria's top five aquatic attractions
Melbourne listings website Meetoo has named what it believes to be the top five aquatic attractions and facilities in Victoria, compiling a "a top five list of awesome fun places to play in water" during the summer holidays.
The Meetoo website lists the following facilities with its comments:
1. Adventure Park Geelong
"This is the kind of excursion that requires a hearty picnic basket and a full day. We are talking from when the gates first open until they shut if you're going to make the trip to Geelong and pay $38 (adults and kids over 1.2 metres) to get in then you want to make the most of it. And really there is so much to do and try that you will not get bored."
2. Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre
"The swimming options are generous there is the indoor wave pool, water slide, toddler water play area, the small pool (with adjustable floor), the serious lap pools (both indoor and outdoor) and the FlowRider."
3. WaterMarc
"Two awesome waterslides for the bigger kids and a fantastic water playground for the little ones. Add to that an indoor 50 metre pool and two small pools for playing in and you're set for a perfect half day of fun."
4. Glen Eira Sport and Aquatic Cente
"Similar to WaterMarc but on the bay side of Melbourne and includes a 50 metre outside pool as well."
5. Peninsula Hot Springs.
"This is less play more relax the warm spring waters are sure to lull the mood of any hyped up water babies and with so many pools to choose from you will spend hours exploring this beautiful bathing complex/nature reserve."
