MEA to launch new Sydney trade show
Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) is to launch a new events trade show in Sydney, The Event Show – Sydney.
To be held at a soon-to-be revealed venue in August, The Event Show – Sydney will feature displays from the best of Sydney’s event venues and suppliers, with a focus on exposing fresh new ideas and service providers.
It will also feature an education program, including revealing perspectives from major corporate event clients.
Introducing the event, MEA Chief Executive Linda Gaunt stated “The Event Show – Sydney has already attracted an incredible degree of support from industry suppliers.
“That will allow us to keep booth prices very reasonable for exhibitors, so we expect space will sell quickly.”
The show is also planning a Fresh Talent Zone, where undiscovered, innovative meeting suppliers can get exposure.
Gaunt added “we’re determined to show Sydney’s event clients the absolute best our industry has to offer.
“We’ll be revealing a lot more exciting detail very shortly.”
