Magic Memories to provide personalised imaging experience at Melbourne Museum
Magic Memories has announced the opening of a new imaging experience at Melbourne Museum, just in time for its new exhibition - Bug Lab.
The exhibit, created by Weta Workshop and Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa (Te Papa) in Wellington, will allow visitors to get up close and personal with large-scale bug models, discover cutting-edge science and explore the world as bugs do, through immersive sensory experiences.
The new personalisation experience comes in time with the exhibit’s debut at Melbourne Museum following a stint at Te Papa. After exploring these colourful exhibits, visitors can collect and share their memories captured by Magic Memories. They can choose from a variety of physical and digital packages made by bugs, for humans. Additionally, through this new partnership, the companies will provide one complimentary digital photo per guest.
Paula Greene, Head of Commercial Operations at Museums Victoria commented “the partnership between Museums Victoria and Magic Memories is an exciting opportunity to enhance the experience of visitors to Bug Lab at Melbourne Museum.
“We’re thrilled that this new photo experience will allow visitors to capture and share their fascinating journey into the world of bugs and hold onto the memories for many years to come.”
Magic Memories Chief Executive Chris Warhurst added “Melbourne is a key destination for those seeking unique, educational tourism attractions and Melbourne Museum is certainly a must-see on everyone’s list.
“We’re proud to welcome them to the Magic Memories family, and add this enriching experience to our growing global portfolio.”
