LSA to reveal plans for management of Deniliquin Swim Centre and Hydrotherapy Pool

Awarded the contract to manage the Deniliquin Swim Centre and Hydrotherapy Pool by the Edward River Council in August, new operators LSA (Lifeguarding Services Australia) Group, will reveal a range of initiatives planned for the facility including a focus on children’s safety, at a public consultation tomorrow (Tuesday 11th October).

Encouraging local residents to attend and share their suggestions, Edward River Council Chief Executive, Phil Stone advised “LSA will announce a range of exciting programs and initiatives, including healthier food options and sustainability initiatives.

“This will be a great opportunity for the local community to also come down to provide their input on what they’d like to see improved.”

Advising that LSA Swimming recently received a Child Safeguard Certification from Child Safeguard Pty Ltd, which aims to create and maintain safe environments for children, LSA’s Chief Experience Officer, Hannah Pigram noted “we want parents and the community to know we take the safety of children very seriously.

“As well as our industry-first certification ensuring the Centre is a safe place for children, we are committed to ensuring that every local child has access to swimming lessons but to do that, we need more local instructors.”

Advising that LSA is currently looking to employ qualified instructors at the facility, Pigram added “the more instructors we have, the more classes we can put on, and the more children we can teach to swim. It’s a weekend course with workplace training and a guaranteed job.”

The community consultation will be held at 4pm on Tuesday 11th October, at the Deniliquin Swim Centre.

The LSA group of companies includes LSA Venues, LSA Swimming, LSA Fitness, LSA Training and LSA  Water Solutions.
