Life Saving Victoria acknowledges Knox Leisureworks' achievements with Platinum Pool Award

The staff team at Knox Leisureworks Aquatic and Recreation Centre has welcomed its receipt of Life Saving Victoria’s (LSV) Platinum Pool Award.

Gaining the LSV recognition, the facility joins a group of 40 Victorian facilities that currently hold the accreditation.

Commenting on Knox Leisureworks' achievements, Life Saving Victoria Manager - Aquatic Industry Services, Alek Olszewski stated “Platinum Pool accreditation really is reserved for the best of the best, and so I congratulate Knox Leisureworks on their strong safety protocols and newly-minted platinum accreditation that will ensure guests of the facility are able to make the most of the new facility to learn lifelong water skills."

Included in the award is an industry leading Pool Safety Assessment – a six-month assessment on implementation, Mystery Guest Visits and adherence to best practice ‘Watch Around Water’ child supervision program.

Platinum Pool status is awarded to aquatic facilities providing outstanding levels of safety and risk management that are recognised as a sign of excellence.
