Les Mills announces technology link with Polar

Global group fitness leader Les Mills is to embark on a new partnership with wearable technology giant Polar to help fitness fans get the most from their favourite group exercise workouts.

The partnership brings together Polar’s heart rate training guidance with the motivation and results of Les Mills fitness programs.

As part of the tie-up, Polar heart rate monitors are now being used by Les Mills program directors and trainers to gain added insight into the impact of their workouts against long-term goals.

In addition, the companies will be working together on product development, joint research initiatives and greater integration of Les Mills workout information on Polar devices. Polar will also be a partner for global Les Mills Live events.

Introducing the partnership, Les Mills Enterprises Chief Executive Vaughan Schwass explains “the personalised and adaptive heart rate guidance that Polar provides inspires people to get the most from their workouts.

“Team this with Les Mills’ proven workouts and people get the results they desire and, in turn, continue to fall in love with fitness.”
