Laservision transformation of Rockhamption Botanic Gardens continues to captivate

Transforming the Rockhamption Botanic Gardens and almost two weeks after its opening night, the light and sound immersive experience – RADIANCE by Laservision - continues to draw large crowds as it captivates with its mesmerising Christmas display.

Since its debut on 1st December, RADIANCE has welcomed almost 15,000 attendees through the display, making the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens a go-to event for families seeking a magical Christmas experience.

The Christmas-themed LUNA Light Journey, featuring holograms, lasers, interactive projections, light sculptures, and immersive soundscapes, has enchanted visitors of all ages and is open until Christmas Eve.

Rockhampton Regional Council Mayor Tony Williams expressed his delight at the overwhelming response from the community and shared "RADIANCE has truly become an event for the whole family. The Botanic Gardens have come alive each night with the magic of Christmas.

“RADIANCE has also provided a fantastic opportunity for the Botanic Gardens Tea Rooms and local pop-up food vendors to trade each evening, offering attendees a range of food and drinks.”

Laservision Chief Executive, Shannon Brooks shared the excitement of debuting their first Christmas-themed LUNA Light Journey in Rockhampton and enthused "the positive energy and joy from the Rockhampton community has been incredible. RADIANCE follows in the footsteps of our acclaimed productions, and we're honoured to contribute to the festive spirit in regional Queensland.”

Advance Rockhampton Tourism and Events Manager, Zac Garven emphasised the event's popularity and noted "RADIANCE is drawing large crowds every night, and we encourage residents to secure their tickets quickly for an unforgettable experience before Christmas Eve.

“The Botanic Gardens have been transformed into a magical realm, and the response has been phenomenal. We can’t wait to welcome RADIANCE back next year."

To accommodate the high demand, RADIANCE offers extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 11:30pm, and Sunday to Thursday from 7pm to 10:3 pm. Tickets are available for purchase on the RADIANCE website at www.radiancerockhampton.com.au
