Keiser launch the most technologically advanced Indoor Group Cycle in the world

Keiser, the company that revolutionised indoor group cycling with magnetic resistance, the first bike with a computer, and who made power an industry training standard, now introduces the most technologically advanced indoor group cycle ever, the Keiser M3i featuring Bluetooth wireless display.

Set to become popular with both riders and group exercise instructors, the new Keiser Bluetooth wireless computer can transmit to a receiver for projection onto a screen and can also partner up with a wireless telephone or tablet. At first glance the Keiser M3i catches the eye with a sexy new black colour scheme that also features a red flywheel guard.

Keiser Accuracy Acclaim
The Keiser M3 group fitness cycle has been the first product of its kind to receive prestigious EN-ISO 20957-1 (International Organisation for Standardisation) recognition for the accuracy of its power display – a certification that brings consistency to the fitness industry.

Commenting on this acclaim for its power, Keiser founder and President Dennis Keiser explains “this is a big step. Our industry needs to validate the numbers that our users are seeing.

“This gives our customers a level of comfort at what they are seeing in our display.”

The accuracy certification represents the first time that TUV Product Services, a European safety organisation, has tested for accuracy in a data reporting system on an indoor fitness cycle.

To achieve EN-ISO 20957-1 recognition, TUV requires a group fitness cycle consistently perform within plus or minus 10% of accuracy. Keiser’s engineers have designed the the M3i to a single digit accuracy.

Keiser Vice President-Europe Alastair Watson adds “to be the first in our industry to receive this is a great achievement and an honour.

“It is important to everyone at Keiser that our customers know they are getting the best bike in the industry and the most accurate reporting system as this designation confirms.”

Keiser has been a consistent industry leader in indoor cycling technology, being the first company to employ magnetic resistance, introduce power, and now the first to receive accuracy certification.

Dennis Keiser adds “it’s very easy for someone to talk about the accuracy of power but this test is very difficult.

“In just five short years (we have) produced more than 150,000 M3 indoor fitness cycles making it the bestselling indoor fitness cycle in America (and we) continue to innovate.

“To achieve what we have is significant ... we have been the leader and intend to remain the leader in indoor group cycling.”

Keiser fitness cycles are available in Australia from Life Fitness.
