Jetts wins top New Zealand award for customer satisfaction
Leading 24/7 gym chain Jetts, continues to win industry awards, collecting the inaugural Canstar Blue Most Satisfied Customers' award for gyms in New Zealand.
The win comes just months after Jetts took out the same award in Australia and was the first gym in Canstar Blue's history to be recognised in the field.
The back-to-back victory is a testament to the high standard of operation and customer value Jetts has upheld during a growth of more than 400% in the past three years.
Jetts Managing Director, Adrian McFedries said he was proud to see Jetts named the customer's choice in both Australia and New Zealand, stating "the essence of Jetts is offering members freedom of choice and we are wrapped to be recognised on both sides of the Tasman as the gym with the most consistent standards and satisfied customers.
"From day one, we built our business around the customer and focused on what they value.
"No matter where you are in the world, one thing never changes - customers want low fees, no contracts, 24/7 access, great equipment and friendly, qualified staff."
Since launching in New Zealand in 2010, Jetts has grown to 26 clubs in 18 months and plan to reach 40 by the end of the year.
The Canstar Blue survey nearly 80% of respondents say they read the terms and conditions before signing up, according to Canstar New Zealand National Manager Derek Bonnar.
Bonnar states "results show the vast majority of consumers are doing their homework before making this significant commitment which we need to remember is a financial contract.
"When it came to the gymnasium with the most satisfied customers, it was gym franchise, Jetts that came out on top in the categories of overall satisfaction, value, access, equipment and membership flexibility."
Canstar Blue commissions independent market research firm, Colmar Brunton Australia to survey 2,500 New Zealand consumers across a range of categories every few months to measure and track customer satisfaction. The results of the gym ratings report are from 430 customers with a gym membership from within the survey group.
Jetts was recently named by BRW as the fastest growing franchise in Australia and its success has come in the wake of its mantle as the country's first gym model to give its members freedom of choice through 24-hour access, no contracts and low membership fees.
