James Eastes joins the gemba Group

The gemba Group has announced that James Eastes has been appointed to the role of Strategy Consultant as part of the expansion of its Venues & Facilities division into Sydney.

With four years as a Senior Consultant in the Strategy, Policy and Economics group at KPMG, Eastes comes into this role with a wealth of experience across a broad range of industries.

Welcoming the appointment, gembA Group Head of Venues & Facilities Chris Beattie explained "the addition of James to our team will add considerable strength to our offering in sport and entertainment infrastructure strategy and planning, as well as further enhancing our economic analysis and government investment expertise.

"James joins gemba with very relevant experience in stadia economics and strategy, most notably through his involvement in the NSW State Government's Stadia Strategy, which was released last year."

Eastes will play a key role in providing infrastructure strategy, economic feasibility and investment advice, while his appointment also creates a permanent presence in Sydney to enable the gemba Group to better service its growing client base in New South Wales and Queensland.

The gemba Group is a market leading provider of insights, strategies and ideas in the sport and entertainment industry.

Its work is underpinned by one of the largest consumer research programs in this industry and its client list includes all levels of government, venue operators, sport organisations and some of the world's best brands.

With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Shanghai, The gemba Group has delivered projects in most major markets around the world and is increasingly bringing a global perspective to this rapidly changing market.
