Jacobs Ladder Reaches Summit
Jacobs Ladder was one of the highlights among new ranges of fitness equipment at the weekend's Australian Fitness & Health Expo.
Distributed by Summit Fitness Equipment, Jacobs Ladder is a patented commercial cardio machine specifically designed for fitness enthusiasts, athletes and professionals. The machine is self-paced, so the faster the users climbs, so the faster the unit moves.
The unique design of Jacobs Ladder places the user at a 40° angle in order to take stress off of the lower back while the unit is self-powered, meaning that without the need for an electrical outlet it can be placed anywhere in a facility while also reducing electrical costs and making a contribution to the concept of the 'green gym'.
Established in 2008, Summit Fitness are also agents for MotionFitness, Tuff Stuff and, since the end of last year, SportsArt Fitness.
With these brands Summit Fitness Equipment can supply treadmills; elliptical/cross trainers; upright, recumbent and spinner exercise bikes; rowing machines; benches, bars and weights; strenght equipment and accesories; vibration machines and boxing equipment.
SportsArt Fitness' EcoPowr Treadmills which use 30% less electricity than most comparable equipment reinforces Summit's green credentials and were also on display at the Fitness & Health Expo. The treadmills offer a maintenance-free and self-regulating technological system that delivers 5.0hp of performance while using up to one-third less electricity than the standard AC and DC motors.
As Director Adam Lewit explains "we have taken the biggest brands internationally and put them under one roof to offer the biggest range of fitness equipment in Australia", adding that "the success of Summit Fitness's products in both the institutional and consumer markets is largely attributable to a team of loyal staff dedicated to making improvements of the quality of our equipment and meeting demands of our clients."
