International Healthy Parks Healthy People Congress 2010
Parks Victoria is proud to be hosting the inaugural Healthy Parks Healthy People Congress, to be held at the new Melbourne Convention Centre from 11th to 16th April, 2010.
Supported by Parks Forum, will focus on exploring the vital links between nature, people and society's health and wellbeing.
The world-class event will feature over 200 sessions involving speakers from 28 countries.
Keynote speakers include American futurist and author Richard Louv, Harvard Medical Schoolâs Aaron Bernstein, Howard Frumkin from the US Centers for Disease Control, climate activist Tim Flannery, Natural England's Dr William Bird and business woman Janet Holmes a Court.
Tickets for the Congress will be going on sale in the next few weeks at a special early-bird rate.
