Industry leaders set to gather at Beyond Activ’s Sydney Festival

Leaders from across the fitness, health, sport and wellness industries from around the Asia-Pacific are set to come together in Sydney next week at Beyond Activ’s Asia-Pacific Festival.

Being held from 21st to 23rd November, the international business gathering, part of global industry network, Beyond Activ, has been designed to bring the business community together, to work with one another with the purpose of making more people healthier and happier.

The speaking faculty spreads around the various pillars of the industry, from fitness to hospitality, wellness and sport with the Festival to feature addresses from influential brands in the region and globally, including Accor, Anytime Fitness, Air Locker Training, Athletics Australia, Australian Government, Belgravia Leisure, BFT, Collective Wellness Group, Crown Resorts, Fernwood Fitness, Fitness & Lifestyle Group, Hyatt Hotels, KX Pilates, Jetts Australia, Les Mills Asia Pacific, Lift Brands, Minor Hotels, Viva Leisure and others.

Behind Beyond Activ
Ross Campbell, the founder and Chief Executive of Beyond Activ, is a life-long health and fitness fanatic, who studyied Sports Science and Psychology at the University of Glasgow in Scotland before attaining a BSci (Upper Hons) in Neuroscience - reading physiology, biology, anatomy, pharmacology and neuroscience.

Having co-founded the world’s largest energy b2b network (Oil & Gas Council), expanding the company rapidly across five continents, Campbell moved into to health and fitness, launching The Jungle, an MMA and HIIT gym concept in Singapore, and becoming an ambassador for lululemon. Experiencing first-hand the fragmentation of the industry in Asia, he created FIT Summit (relaunched as Beyond Activ in October this year), a network to connect the owners, investors and management of health, fitness and wellness companies.

Through the pandemic Ross cofounded the Singapore Fitness Alliance, the non-profit industry association for Singapore’s fitness industry. In 2022 he cofounded Active Franchising, an industry platform for promoting regional and international franchise investment opportunities.
