Asia-Pacific’s fitness industry achievements recognised at FIT Summit’s 2022 Awards of Excellence
Greg Oliver, Chief Executive and Managing Director of the Fitness and Lifestyle Group, has this week been recognised as the inaugural winner of the John Holsinger Lifetime Achievement Award at FIT Summit’s 2022 Awards of Excellence.
Presented during the World Health, Fitness & Wellness Festival in Singapore, the awards were presented to 11 companies and executives based on their achievements and successes during the past year.
Oliver’s Achievement Award was presented in honour of John Holsinger, the long-time Asia Pacific Director of the International Health, Fitness, Racquet and Sports Club Association (IHRSA), who died earlier this year.
It was presented to recognise Oliver’s legacy to the fitness and wellness industry in the Asia-Pacific, his lifelong industry leadership and long-term commitment to working with communities and industry stakeholders for continued industry growth.

App of the Year - Myzone
Franchise of the Year - Body Fit Training (BFT)
It has been a massive few years for BFT with the company attracting a $60 million cash up-front partnership with Xponential Fitness to launch in the USA and Canada while also expanding into the Asian and UK markets.
Deal of the Year - Mindbody and ClassPass
In October last year Mindbody agreed to acquire ClassPass creating a one-stop shop for both business owners and consumers.
Technology Company of the Year - Therabody
Corporate Wellness Company of the Year - ClassPass
Hotel/Resort/Spa Company of the Year - Accor
Boutique of the Year - Fitness Playground
Industry Appreciation Award - Jack Thomas, Founder and Chief Executive, BASE and Fitness Business Asia Podcast
Fitness & Wellness Company of the Year - Lift Brands
Executive of the Year - Chris Caldwell, Chief Executive - APAC, Lift Brands
