Ignite Fitness event concept expands to Sydney
Following the success of Australia’s first Ignite fitness event in Melbourne in February this year, fitness entrepreneur and gym owner Mel Tempest is to now bring the new business event concept to Sydney.
Set to be held on Friday 9th August at a venue in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, Ignite Fitness Sydney will again use a unique time-based information delivery format new to the Australian fitness industry.
Following the international success of Ignite conventions, Tempest describes the innovative event “as a blend of ‘fitness workshop’ meets ‘speed dating’ ... designed to deliver high-quality information in a super fast format, where presenters deliver five minute presentations that consist of 20 slides, and every 15 seconds each one automatically advances to the next.”
Confirmed speakers for Ignite Fitness Sydney include:
James Short
Offering a new perspective on succession planning, exit strategies, and planning for ‘next steps’.
Paul Brown ('Mr Retention')
Delivering useful insights to help create delegates live without apology or regret.
Steve Jensen
With sales the lifeline of any commercial business, learn from the global sales guru ‘Dr J’.

Discover exactly how far true grit can take you, from someone who’s proven that dreams can become realities even if you only have $3.63 in your bank account.
With presentations lasting only five minutes, Tempest explains “these days gym owners are all pressed for time, so this event is specifically designed to deliver highly valuable information in and fast and fun way.”
Ignite Fitness Sydney comes at a busy time for fitness business events in Sydney, with the Fitness Industry Technology Summit and the Fuel Women’s Fitness Business Summit being held just a fortnight earlier.
Both of these events are being staged on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th July.
Presenter applications for Ignite Fitness Sydney are now open.
