Hydrocare Pools celebrates 25 years

Sydney-based Hydrocare Pool Services Pty Ltd has celebrated 25 years of operations with an industry function attended by clients, partners, media and staff past and present.

Managing Director Robert Savell founded the company in 1989 and since that time has undertaken water treatment for aquatic centres and swimming pools, waterparks, fountains and water features and has designed and installed water treatment systems for all types of aquatic recreation facilities.

Hydrocare Pools has also manufactured and supplied specialty recreation products for water play, water features, waterpark rides, water and waste water treatment, chemical controllers, UV systems, ozone and grating and stainless steel products. 

The evening also saw Savell highlight Hydrocare Pools' latest innovation, the Waterzone Pool - a unique swimming pool lining system designed to offer a low cost solution in pool refurbishment. With many aquatic centres and swimming pools constructed in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s reaching the end of their serviceable lives, the Waterzone Pool will bring pools up to date and reduce water usage and maintenance costs.

Already tested in refurbishments at the Parkes Swimming Pool and the Oberon Swimming Pool Complex, the Waterzone Pool is now set to be installed by a range of councils and pool operators.
