Named by Netball Australia as an Associate Partner on the eve of the 2023 Suncorp Super Netball Season, the sponsorship was welcomed by Netball Australia Chief Executive, Kelly Ryan who stated “this is a significant announcement for Guzman y Gomez (GYG) and we are delighted to enter into this new partnership.
“Guzman y Gomez has a national footprint and over 700,000 guests a week and we look forward to connecting netball fans with this well-known brand.”
Steven Marks, founder and Chief Executive of Guzman y Gomez, said the partnership was a natural step for the fast growing Mexican-style casual dining company.
Marks noted “we are excited to announce Guzman y Gomez’s first professional sports partnership
“GYG has been feeding professional athletes their pre- and post-match meals for years so we’re proud to be giving back to a sport that keeps so many athletes of all ages fit and healthy.”
“At GYG our mission is to reinvent fast food, because we believe fast food does not have to be bad food.
“The partnership is an amazing opportunity to serve up fresh, clean and delicious food to athletes and fans across Australia - no matter which team they support. GYG really is fast food that athletes say yes to.”
