Guide to Clarify Fitness Messages

In a bid to clarify the sometimes conflicting and misleading fitness information available, Pro-Visual Publishing is urging greater awareness of key fitness indicators through its National Guide to Fitness & Health.
The Guide, which is being sent out free of charge nationally in time for Aprilâs Australian Fitness Expo, explores eight ways to test fitness levels. It also demonstrates how to measure waist circumference accurately and identifies the guideline measurements for BMI ranges.
The Australian Fitness Network, believes the Guide will help gym members and staff to assess and monitor their fitness, flexibility and endurance, and will motivate them to continue a healthy lifestyle.
âFitness professionals and club owners and managers find the chart an extremely useful resource, as it provides accurate technical guidance for their clients and members,? said Nigel Champion, Executive Director of Australian Fitness Network.
By displaying the chart prominently, gym members and staff have a daily reminder of key areas integral to the health and wellbeing of all Australians.
The guide will be distributed to gyms and fitness centres nationally. Additional copies are available and all Guides are produced and distributed without cost thanks to sponsorship.
For further information, or to obtain additional copies of the chart call 02 8272 2611.
