Greg Pullen departs Playbill Venues
Greg Pullen, Business Development Manager at Playbill Venues, the operator of Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, has left the organisation.
Pullen, named Venue Professional of the Year by the Venue Management Association (Asia and Pacific) [VMA] at its 2017 member awards, has worked in venue management since the 1980s and before his time at Playbill Venues was Client Services Manager at the Sydney Entertainment Centre for 12 years.
In a communication via social media he advised “I have had a wonderful career in venue management which began nearly 34 years ago and the Hordern has been a huge part of my life since 1999.
“I would like to thank everyone who has assisted/encouraged/challenged/mentored me (and made me laugh) over the years, be they work colleagues, clients, suppliers or contractors.
“I wish you all the best dealing with the obstacles ahead and hope that things return to some kind of manageable state in the near future.”
The career achievements of Pullen (pictured) were profiled in a feature in Australasian Leisure Management issue 123.
