Gold’s Gym opens second health and wellness club in Queensland at Kippa-Ring
Following the opening of their Toowoomba gym earlier this month, Gold’s Gym has opened its first South East Queensland based club in the former Target building within the Kippa-Ring shopping centre.
Golds Gym Australia Chief Operating Officer Glen Farrow said he was thrilled to launch the second Gold’s Gym in Queensland and enthused “this is a really exciting time for our gym, we are on a solid growth trajectory, and we feel that the Moreton Bay region is an ideal location as it is primed for significant growth over the next few years.
“Kippa-Ring Shopping Centre is one of the region’s most popular shopping centres and we are delighted to have secured 2,406 metre2 of space to create a 24/7 health and wellness club which is in accordance with the latest Gold’s Gym global brand guidelines.”
Farrow advised “our members will have access to the German engineered strength equipment by Gym80, the new Excite Live series of cardio equipment by Technogym from Italy as well as a specialised range of strength equipment by U.S. fitness equipment giants, Life Fitness.
“We will also have a large group training rooms for a range of programs including spin as well as locker rooms with all the modern conveniences and a fully supervised Creche (bookings essential, extra costs apply) along with a pro shop stocked with Gold’s merchandise as well as nutrition and supplements.
“A full service Raw Energy café will also operate within the health club so members can fuel up on great food, coffee and smoothies before or after their workout.”
Club Manager Aubrey Sutherland said the gym will cater for the whole community regardless of where they are at on their fitness journey and added “if you are a dedicated athlete, we have premium equipment and trainers to help improve your performance, those who are only starting out will also have access to all the equipment and facilities they need.
“We have created a club where members can treat it as a destination where they can exercise, socialize and build their own community.
“Working out is more than just a physical journey and at Gold’s Gym we are all about seeing people thrive and become better versions of themselves regardless of where they are in their health and fitness journey.
“We create a culture centred around encouragement and growth and our highly trained staff really take the time to get to know our members in order to understand their health and wellbeing goals.”
Golds Gym’s current Australian locations include, North Sydney, Miranda (NSW), Fyshwick (ACT), Fremantle, Kennedy Park, Mandurah, Port Kennedy, Rockingham (WA) and Toowoomba. New locations are currently being explored in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
