Gold Coast Council to issue an Invitation to Offer for Commercial Aquatic Recreational Activities

City of Gold Coast Council will shortly be issuing an Invitation to Offer for the Operation of Commercial Aquatic Recreational Activities on Council Controlled Sites, for a period of three years, by one or more suitably experienced, qualified and equipped Contractor/s.

10 sites have been identified across the city and the type of activities to be considered include:

• Motorised operations (jet skis, paraflying, etc.) where not restricted
• Water parks - inflatable slides and other equipment
• Inflatable 'water' ball
• Kayaking
• Stand up paddle boarding
• Various amusement equipment (water related)
• Traditional non-motorised activities such as canoeing and other water crafts
• Related activities (eg bicycle hire) that could complement an aquatic permit
• Other suitable activities subject to Trustee’s evaluation and approval.

Successful Offerors will be required to enter into a Trustee Permit or Licence depending on the site location.

• The Gold Coast Bulletin.
• Council website  - www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/default.html
• LG Tender Box - www.lgtenderbox.com.au/index.do.

The anticipated date for advertisement is Saturday, 26th November 2016.
